overheard a conversation he other day about something being the matter with ds schoolfriend. when i actually saw the child i was really concerned, he was twitching or having tics of some sort. He has always seemed a very healthy robust child and although he seems to be just carrying on as normal, i feel really worried as to what could be wrong.
I can't really approach the mum and ask and ds made out that he hadn't noticed anything!

what could it be? seems sudden.

could something traumatic have happened to him maybe? doesn't have to be physical illness. either that or some sort of brain injury/bleed etc?

if it were contagious the school would have been notified and put measures in place so i wouldn't think it matters really?

just wonder if he has had a virus which may have affectedhis nervous system? is that a possibility?

i don't know. i don't really talk to the mum, it wasn't just facial twitching more sort of his head, arms, hands

It could be an actual tic, these things can occur at anytime.

I knew one child who at the age of about 4 had a tic which made his head twitch involuntarily, he had it for about 6mths and then it just stopped!

Don't really know the cause of them.
