Amoxicillin side effects

On day 3 of 500mg course of amoxicillin and now have quite severe thrush and a weird tingly lip feeling.

Are these normal side effects?

Ring nhs direct. I have an allergy to amoxcillin but it was a rash. I rang nhs direct for advice after the rash appeared and they got a local out of hours GP to ring me. They issued me with a different antibiotic.
