Dental implants

Has anyone had these done and was it worth it? Anyone thinking about it?

My teeth are in rapid decline and will cost £00s worth of crowns, but I am thinking it may be more effective to have implants done.

There might be other options if you still have the teeth in place - have you spoken to a private dentist about the options open to you - crowns arent necessarily the only option.
