6yr old son told me the other day he thought he had a "lump" on his head. i felt around and couldn't feel anything and that was that. however, today he said he had a headache and he could see "dots" sometimes. i know that i sometimes-very rarely-get a migraine type thing where i get zig-zags floating around and sometimes go blind for a few minutes.could this be what he's getting? he went to school as he insisted he wanted to go the beach with his class today.he said it had gone anyway.should i be worrying?..cos i am!

Has he banged his head at all recently? Or is he prone to headaches? It could be migraine - I've sometimes experienced 'dots' floating around but as an adult not a child.

i can remember getting headaches from a very young age. Dont know how young though.

Am thinking it could be eye strain though, has he had his eyes tested?
