Hello I have a 6cm gap in my stomach muscles and this gives me back ache and tummy ache and look 5 months pregnant all the time. My doctor has said that I can have surgery and referred me to a consultant at the hospital who I am seeing next month. Does this mean that the consultant will automatically say i can have the surgery as I my dr has said yes or can they say no? Has anyone had this operation on the Nhs? Thank you very much
