Oh man.
She has cut the back of her head quite badly. Her blood pressure is sky high.
She is 74 so no spring chicken.
DH knew but didn't ring and tell me, and probably wouldn't have done if SIL hadn't have rung me. He wasn't going to go and see her either but I told him to get his backside down there pronto!
Sad Life is not great atm here.

It is not obvious. Grin

I knew he would react like this. Apparently his dad was exactly the same (god bless his soul) and would run a mile rather than go within spitting distance of any hospital.

they are letting her come home on the condition that someone stays with her. So my niece who is 22 is staying the night at her flat and as she has the day off tomorrow she is spending the day there too.
Phew. Was worried she was on her way out!

she is ok, a bit shaken and her head is aching. Seemed ok when I spoke to her this morning. She wasn't surprised that I had to give DH the hard word about going to see her, he's exactly like his dad in that sense
