Posted this on money matters, but thought i'd give it a go here too.
About four years ago i had the first part of surgery to cure colitis and i've recently been thinking i need to have the second half done (there is a risk things could become cancerous after 8 years).
I'm a bit concerned about money while i'm recovering as i have recently become self employed. I had and 8 week recovery period last time, so it would have a significant impact on my income.
Is there any financial help i can get with this? Any suggestions would be welcomed!
