A MIRACLE for reflux sufferers!!

I've suffered for years and been on ompeprazole, advanced gaviscon, ranitidine, you name it I've tried it. In desperation I paid for a consultation with a private gastroenterologist and he prescribed Domperidone. It's just FANTASTIC! No more nausea, burning acid up my throat, no more belching. It's available with or without prescription. Happy me!

Ooh interesting. Also suffered for years. On omeprazole now but there was a scarey cancer link recently to it. Is this a different drug do you know? And if its avail non prescription do you know what they sell it as? Sounds like you have blessed relief.

Yes it's not in the same drug family as omeprazole. It's sold as "Motilium" and primary benefit is nausea and bloating but is also used to treat reflux. You can take 1-4 a day depending how your symptoms are

I take these and Lanszprazole. They move food through your system quicker so you have less heavy sickness and the stomach empties reducing the chance of reflux. Sadly they aren't a miracle for me so I still suffer and I'm facing the nissen - however they are brilliant for reducing the problem symptom wise (not the cause) and I would hate to be without them!
