won;t go into detail you'll be glad to know(!) but ds2 has D & V, hoping that its just a 24 hr thing rather than this nasty illness that seems to be doing the rounds. Hes fine in himself just sicky and pooey.

What i want to know is, is there anything that i can do to help him? and a really daft question...what do i use to clean up sick from the carpet?... never needed to know till now lol! i know bicarb gets rid of the smell but do i wipe it then use water or disinfectant?? i am embarrassed by my lack of knowledge on that topic loL!

How is everyone and their children now?

I haven't been sick today (woo hoo!!) and even managed a few mouthfuls of tea b4 the nausea returned. DP still ill but fine in himself and both boys fine altho i am still keeping ds2 off milk for a while because that was just foul!

My dd1 had the d part (but not the v fortunately!) - sent her back to school today, who sent her home at lunchtime with a suspected urinary tract infection! Sad
