Hi,

For the past 3 days i've had the worst bite/spot on my back, its very red and swollen and is causing me quite alot of pain! I can't tell if it's a spot or a bite, it has no head on it(sorry TMI!) but there also don't seem to be any puncture marks, like with some bites. Can anyone recommend any good creams, or home remedies for helping the pain/swelling/redness.

I'm off to a wedding on saturday, and my dress shows some of my back, right were this damn thing is! So any tips for getting the redness down would be great. Currently just been applying sudocream.

Tea tree oil for the spot, or hydrocortisone. A zapper that electrocutes you for the itch. All from Boots.

Maybe Piriton or some other anti histimine as well. Ask the pharmacist, and show if you can. Try a hot pad on it ( I know, and it makes it worse for a minute, then seems to kill the itch.)then put on a cream like Anthisan. Agree with zappy thing, they work great ( can leave a scar tho' Sad )
