My dh was at the local park sunday when a ride clamped him one on the side of his head by his temple. This was on sunday, he hasn't got any sypmtoms other than a few twinges in his head now and again. He is working himself up thinking he has a brain bleed, and something is going to happen.

I think he needs to go and see a GP, or go to the walk in centre and get himself checked out. I have no idea how quickly a brain bleed would show up, or whether he has one or not or what the symptoms would be, - but if I were worried about something like that, I'd go and see someone,it's not something I'd ignore if I was worried.

Yes I have told him to go and see the dr on monday, I have been telling him to go since last week but he keeps saying "oh I'm ok it's probably nothing", then keeps flipping saying I think it's a brain bleed everytime he gets a twinge.

Most bleeds would be symptomatic by now, but I have read about one or two types that can show up much later. Temples are particularly sensitive as there is little or no bone to protect the brain.

OTOH if he is only having little twinges and no other symptoms, I'm not sure he will be referred for a scan, tbh.

I don't think he will be referred either, but will tell him to go and see the dr on monday. The trouble with him is, he really is a flippin hypocondriac, and any little bump or pain, he starts to panic and think it's serious.
