I just wondered if anyone else has had this? It is my arms and legs and is quite restrictive in the morning and evenings.

It has been for the last week or so and feels like I ran a marathon 2 days ago iykwim. I haven't actually done anything to justify the pain!

Does this sound like something to speak to a gp about? I feel a bit embarrassed and dh thinks it will just go away eventually

TIA

I used to suffer from ME and this was how it started.

If I washed the car, 2 or 3 days later I would wake up in agony like my flesh was being ripped from my bones.

Get thee to your GP

Oh no worried that sounds terrible! Glad you are better now

I have been permanently aching but haven't actually done anything so active as clean the car.

I guess I just want someone to tell me it is ok to see a gp for me (rather than the dc)

Meant to add, I don't think I'm in as much pain as you were, that sounds horrible Sad

OP - are you taking a statin for cholesterol? Muscular pain is a known side effect; changing to a different type of statin tends to relieve this.

Either way, you need to see your gp.

Not on any medication but I did have an infection recently.

Have made an appointment for next week. Thanks for your replies Smile
