i definiatly caught it from work, so it is around BUT will people at work think I ought not to be there????

I treated everyone - symptoms or not!

I think DH has it, but I thought it was from the chicken pox virus, he has been so miserable, hasn't been to the doctors (has it since Sat) smothering himself with Camomile Lotion and taking Purition tabs. I keep nagging him to go to the Doctors, but he thinks it will just clear up. Please someone help - what should he do, I am just hoping and praying I don't catch it and two kids (they have had c/pox though)

dd2 got this too and passed it on to me (presumably via cuddling). She has had it twice now and passed it on to me each time. and and at whoever keeps passing it to dd2!!!

I worked in a nursing home about 10 years ago and there was an out break of scabies. It was horrible everyone had to be treated with derbac and all bed clothes washed. Even though I was not affected I still had to be treated along with my family and all our bed clothes had to be washed and the same a load of days later. Not a nice thing to deal with.

noonoo, your DH doesn't need to go to doc's as you can buy derbac over the counter. do treat the whole family though. hope he's feeling better soon, sounds like he's pretty low

regarding second treatment: we were told 7 days, but maybe treatment is different now, I don't know?

Think he might have shingles (sorry got confused), will make a doctors appointment for tomorrow. Aunty - hope you are feeling better soon and thanks all for the advice and sorry for gatecrashing your thread.
