Help scary rash

My son has been a bit off for a few days, saying he feels sick. He's actually been sick this morning a few times and is hot - presume its just a bug.

But I've just noticed that he's got a rash under each eye, it's the type that doesn't fade when you touch it (always scares me) Is this likely to be caused by retching? He's not got it anywhere else, no neck pain but says he has a headache.

The rash under his eyes is like little pin pricks but they're dark and sort of 'solid'

Yes dr! Better to be sent home with it being nothing than risk leaving it! Hope he recovers :(

Thanks have rung the out of hrs dr. He's still being sick :-(

Oh poor little mite. I get tiny little dark spots under my eyes and on my eyelids after being sick. I think it's little burst blood vessels caused by the strain of retching. Best to check but I nearly always get these. Hope he's soon over the vomitting. It's awful to see them in that state :(

He's fine now thanks, the doctor said it was probably just caused by him being sick - pressure on his eyes.

He'd perked right up by the time we got there (typical!) and hasn't been sick since.
