Gaping Perineum

Hi There,

Is anyone able to help me on this issue. I had a fentons procedure 10 days ago to repair tissue granulation of the perineum and stitches have come lose. When I take a closer look the muscle has healed but the perineum surface tissue is open. Today I seen my consultant and she said it wont close over completely but was fine. After having two babies and the perineum healing fine, this has come as a bit of a shock. I have waited 2 years for this procedure and really don't want any more discomfort. Has any1 had a similar experience, then please HELP.

Did they say you could call if you're worried? Either way I'd give it a couple of weeks and if you're still concerned then I would call the consultants secretary and tell them your concerns. If you're not listened to, go and see your gp and explain your worries.
