Mirena removal and when did your periods go back to normal?

Will be taking out my mirena shortly as we wish to concieve in approx july. I understand that fertility can return straight away and could concieve straight away but will be using other methods till july.

Did you find that your periods were heavier than before using it, did you skip them or did they just go straight back to what they were before.

Had mine taken out on 14th Feb, no sign of period yet, keep getting the familiar pains and bloating but no bleeding.

Had my mirena removed in January and have had two periods since then. It's been three years since my last one, but I don't think they are heavier now than before. Hope you concieve easily - good luck!
