24 hour urine test

Has anyone else had this? My Dr did tell me why he was doing it but I was really upset during the consultation as I have been having panic attacks and had one on the way to Dr.
The sheet says catecholamine and I am too scared to google.

It seems to be done to check the adrenal gland is working properly, OP. Catecholamine is a hormone produced by the adrenal gland.

Could you ask someone to go with you next time? It can be easier for someone else to grasp what's going on.

So sorry about the panic attacks - I know how awful they are.

Thanks for the reply Imperial, I have googled what the test involves and my DCs are in for a treat of a 24 hours no alcohol and no nicotine. I guess they will have to go out for the day :)
