I was being seen privately for neurological problems (possible ms) but unfortunately my husband lost his job and the health insurance cover that went with it. My GP has referred me to a neurologist on the NHS and I wondered if I should take my previous neurologist's notes with me for the NHS neuro to review? Just wondering if I should let new neuro start afresh with medical history, MRi and spinal tap as its been two years since my last private neuro appointment. Can you please let me know what you think. Thanks all.

I would take them .
The more info/history the better .

Definitely take them. They will have a much better idea of the course of your problems if there is something from another neurologist to compare it to.
