Hayfever?

I'm 42. Never had hayfever in my life thus far. Only today (and one day a couple of weeks ago) I have had sneezing fits, fizzy/blocked nose and streaming eyes. This is hayfever yes?? When my nose clears briefly, my eyes stream, when I'm not sneezing my nose is bunged-arrgh!

I bought a "one a day" pack of tablets recommended by the pharmacist but not a lot of difference to be honest. What's the best thing? As I've already taken one today, is there anything practical, non medicine type things I could do? It's driving me batty!

Thanks :(
