Any GPs around?

Has the crummy summer we've had resulted in a higher number of chesty type bugs doing the rounds than usual? I haven't had a chest infection for 15-20 years (had lots in my youth) and I've had four this year already. All clear themselves up in a couple of weeks, but it's made me think if the weather's at fault.

Have you seen more people with chest infections this year than usual?

not a GP, work in paeds intensive care - we have seen far far more chesty nastiness than we usually would this summer - bad asthma, pneumonias and the type of viral stuff we usually only see in the winter - lots of it about!
