Change in bowel habits; what does that actually mean?

Ever since childhood I can remember my bowel habits have been irregular. I would be constipated for days before passing anything. That was usual for me up until a few months ago. Since then I have been going at least once every day, sometimes several times in a day. I don't have any unusual bleeding.
I have other ongoing issues, eg headaches, fatigue, tingling in arm, weakness in left leg, forgetfulness. The other day I saw a friend I have known for over 4 years and could not remember who he was.
This is all getting quite draining. My work have referred me to a psychologist as I am sure they think i am making a lot of this stuff up. I am not. I just want it to go away Sad

I would get properly assessed by your GP.
