I have had symptoms of thrush for four months now and tried so many different things but it won't clear! The itching is starting to drive me crazy.

I've tried canesten cream, pessaries, tablets, vagisil, tea tree oil, live natural yoghurt and probiotic tablets (and not just by mouth), seen the GP once (who gave me a course of fluconazole tablets which maybe helped a bit at the time but now it's back). I'm not sure what to do next but I just want get rid off it properly as soon as possible. I'd be really grateful for any other suggestions or ideas please!

Ask gp for gyno-daktarin.

Cut waaaay back on sugar, white carby stuff, yeast, vinegar, mushrooms and cheese.

Cutingt them out completely for 6 weeks and gradually introducing them would be even better.

Is it definitely thrush? Ask for a swab if you havent had one.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like it's a trip back to the doctors then (if I can actually get an appointment) as I don't eat that much sugar already. I'm not sure if it is thrush but I have all the symptoms so just figured it was.
