Hi, my husband is hoping to do a diving certificate this summer but he has a "yes" to the following questions on the questionnaire; over 45 with a history of heart attacks in the family (father and grandfather), taking medication for high blood pressure and uses inhaler for allergies.
Normally he would go to our GP to get the form signed/rejected but she is on away on holiday. Is it worth going to a different doctor (who can't access his notes - we live abroad where the notes are lodged with individual doctors) or are they certain to reject him.
Really interested to hear your opinions.

I would personally say that the questions are there for a reason, and I would be completely honest in my answers. I don't know if they would reject someone on those grounds, but if they do then so be it, he will have to accept that. - It will be disappointing for him I know, but better safe than sorry in my opinion.
