I'm having a septoplasty op this week

Am a bit worried about the GA more than anything. And of course I'll look an idiot after it. But being able to breath properly and hopefully not having so many problems with my sinuses on the left side will be a bonus.

I haven't had a cold for ages but can feel one coming on, just my luck! They'll cancel the op won't they if I have a cold?

Yes they might... You need to call and ask. My op was very successful - lovely to breath properly at last, with no bruising and very little pain.
