DD is recovering from tonsillitis and was prescribed penicillin, she is pretty much back to normal now but the antibiotics mean she's pooing more and they have caused an awful thrush rash on her bum, the doc has given us an antifungal and mild steroid cream for it but should i stop giving her the antibiotics? it was a ten day course and we're only on day 5 :( i really don't want her to get tonsillitis again but also really want this rash to go!! what to do? thanks in advance.
