Toddler Eye Check - where do I go please in London ?

I have a 20 month old DS who has been screwing up one of his eyes quite frequently recently. It's mainly his right eye.

There is no evidence of a squint or anything like that, but I am a bit worried because DH had a squint as a young child which went undetected until it was too late.

My siblings and I all wear glasses. I am worried about anything in the genes that might effect DS.

I am hoping that it is nothing serious, may be just dry or itchy eyes, but would like to get him checked asap.

Does anyone know where I need to go to get an infant's eyes checked ? NHS please ?

I live in North London.

Moorfields is the best place but you probably need to be refered. Why don't you speak to your local optician or Dr?

Any optician will do eye checks on kids and it's free. If there is a problem they can spot them and refer you.
