olbas oil in the eye!

I know I'm an idiot, I got some olbas oil on my hand and then rubbed my eye.

Oh my fucking god it hurt, but I have rinsed it well and I can now see out of it and it doesn't hurt too much, just slightly tender and swollen.

A quick google tells me I should seek medical advice, do I really need to? I feel ok now?

Have you given ita really good rinse out? at least 20 mins of sloshing with cold water. Initially that's all they'd do at A & E anyway, esp if you're happy your vision is ok. If you are still concerned, you could phone NHS 24 or whatever they are called where you are, and discuss. I'm sure most of us have done things like this before. it's very easily done rubbing eyes like that.

Thanks for answering, I rinsed it out as much as I could bear, maybe 3-4 mins?

It seems ok now, I can see out of it as well as normal (bit short sighted) it aches a little, but no burning or stinging.
