Question about blood test results

I have a lump/swollen gland in my neck which I saw an ENT specialist about on Monday. He said (from feeling it only) that he thinks it's a (benign) thyroid cyst but wants to do ultra sound and aspiration to make sure.

I had my blood results back from GPs in the meantime, and everything is 'normal'. Does that fact that these are normal make it even less likely to be something to worry about or am I clutching at straws?

thank you

Its not an exact science but you would think that if you had anything serious then your CRP levels would be higher.
Although not always the case, they are a fairly good indicator
