Just that really,I'm hot,feel hot,clammy and uncomfortable.Showering twice a day as I feel awful.it isn't noticeable to others,I'm not visibly wet and I don't smell thankfully.
Have been like this for a few months, much worse before and during my period and at night.
Not sure if I there is anything I can do or why this might be happening.
Im 36 btw.

I would go for a hormone check.

Baygreen · 10/07/2012 20:39

I'd second cocolepew, It may be an early menopausal. Talk to you GP, I recommend getting a full blood panel done just as a general health check.

almondfinger · 10/07/2012 20:41

menopause not menopausal

Baygreen · 10/07/2012 20:49

It will check your hormone levels. If you are worse near your period and especislly at night its probably connected.

I was peri menopausal by 35 and having hot flushes /sweats.

Baygreen · 10/07/2012 20:55

Omg,might sound silly but that was the last bloody thing on my mind.
What is perimenopausal, again never heard of this.

I'd also ask for a thyroid check - when my thyroid was over active, I got very hot all the time (very similar feeling to menopausal hot flushes which I've also had as comparison)

cocolepew · 10/07/2012 22:30

Yy re the thyroid, mine went bonkers for awahile and I was roasted. Peri menopause is what you have before you go through the menopause. But it can still take years and years before you hit the menopause. My symptoms came and went on and off. I found acupunture to be a help.

Its been 8 years and Im still not fully menopausal.
