How did you treat your SPD afterwards?

My 2nd baby is now 4 months, and my SPD is much better but I still get twinges and there's no way I can do anything like run, push stuff with my feet etc.

I've been seeing an osteopath while there's still some relaxin in my body but he's been more bothered about making sure my neck and spine are aligned. As there'll be no more babies for me I want to do all I can now to sort the SPD once and for all. Mine is purely at the front of my pelvis btw, no pain round the back or in my hips!

Any suggestions or tips welcome, thanks!

Can you get referred to obstetric physios? After both my babies I went on an exercise course they ran. First time I had classic SPD at the front like you describe, second time there was also unbalanced joints they could help quite s lot with, and I was told to find a postnatal pilates class after. Five months and I'm about better.

I was told not to run or jump or carry baby in a car seat for 6mo, as those could aggravate it - I'm building them up very slowly now.
