Help - ds has fluey bug wih conujuntivitis, his eye is swollen

he's always prone to one eye being more sticky than the other but it is swollen and red arund the eye too. saw doctor yesterday and he presribed antibiotic drops plus ds is on Amoxicillin for ear infections. anything else I can do to help him? thanks, Dinny

dd1 used to get a lot of eye stickiness etc and we found bathing it in cooled chamomile tea soothing.

thanks, eidsvold. is the redness usual as well? it looks so sore.

yeh - dd1 also gets something called blepharitis which is not contagious but makes her eye red and just bathing it seems to help it go away.
