Hi, I just wondered if any mums here had tried the Starr operation to fix a prolapse of the back passage that can happen after giving birth? This is supposed to help some people with symptoms than can happen after childbirth if you get a rectal prolapse. But if you look online, all the stories about starr seem to be quite bad so I just wondered if anyone had had a good experience with this operation?

Thank you for your answer, it is very kind of you. I have a rectocele but my surgeon says the thing about prolapse that causes the constipation is called an intusserception of the back passage. I don't know if this can be fixed via the vagina but i will look on here for the threads you mention.
