colposcopy and missed period?

had the colposcopy done two weeks ago,
and was expecting my period but it has not came, I'm seven days late is the common? I'm still getting that awfull snot like green discharge with some blood staining but that's all, should I still be getting this also shouldn't this have gone away with the colposcopy being done??

Is it old or fresh blood i.e. bright red or dark brown (old blood). Green discharge could be an infection (could not is) so I'd suggest getting off to the practice nurse or GP soonish. What did you have done at colposcopy? I remember you've posted before but can't remember what you were having done.

hi, yes I did, thanks for replying,,
I'd had a biopsy done then laser treatment,,
the blood is gooey and was brown ish but now bright red,
I'm used to having lumpy heavy periods were I ache underneath so I'm greatful for not having it
I'm. thinking the green ish snot stuff would of gone know I've had the colposcopy done,

I was warned that it might make me irregular for the next few cycles. So I didn't think much of it when I missed a couple of periods. Dd is now 2 y.o. !
