Aargh-I itch all over

i caught slapped cheek from the DC's a few weeks ago and felt terrible, achy joints etc for days. Thought I was over it but the rash has come back all over my body, which can apparentky happen. Anyone had this? Would antihistamine help do you think Confused?

Hi, I caught this from one of my DS's a few years back and felt much iller than they did! I also had an all over body rash, but don't think it itched. Sorry, that's not much help is it. I think I just took paracetamol, but I guess there's no harm in trying piriton or something? Hope you feel better.

Thanks, I definitely suffered/am suffering more than them, especially the joint pain, whereas I think they barely noticed anything wrong! Will try piriton, I guess the worst it can do is help me sleep Smile

Yes, I remember feeling muscular aches, especially in my thighs and abdomen. Also had a horrible ache behind my eyes. At first I thought I had Rubella (but can't have been as immunised!), but I think the rash is similar.
