sleepy after 2nd jabs? worried!

My ds had his 12week immunisations at 10.30 this morning, and bar waking to feed and half an hour at lunch time, he has slept. Is this normal? He has no temperature but is distressed on waking, as if he really just wants to be asleep, and he won't be put down.

Am I worrying about nothing? And will he sleep tonight or am I buggered?!

this is normal I think - my daughter was always completely wiped out from her baby shots - I just kept her in my room and she was ok the next morning (and slept through the night).

Thanks catharina, he slept till about 430 this morning (sadly this is normal!) But seems on top form now. Pheeww!

Normal for a vaccine reaction. Not normal for you child. Keep a close eye on him/her espcially after anymore vaccines. Sleep with the baby in your room or in your bed.
