Periods returning only 7 weeks after giving birth

Is this possible? I'm having a little bit of bleeding (bright red, not old blood). My bleeding after giving birth stopped a couple of weeks ago, so can't imagine it's still that.

I'm ebf my DS which is why I'm as I thought this delayed periods for ever a long time. After having DD 2 years ago they didn't come back til she started solids properly, after 6 months.

Of course it's possible. BF does often delay them but I've known women have them return after only six weeks.

I was ebf for six months but with both of mine my periods came back after 4 weeks.

Dr put me on the mini pill second time because she said I didn't want to be bothered with periods while I was feeding...bled all the time on that...

i ebf. pp bleeding stopped at 6 weeks and then 2 weeks later I had my period. twas so disappointing!

i think (at the time) I read that up to 30% of women who ebf have their periods back very early.

Yep I bf for a year but started again after just 6 weeks - gutted!

Exactly the same thing happened to me! It was a weird period though, lasted just a day and a half . Ds was 8mo before my periods came back the first time so I naively thought it would be the same this time.
