I have had it for 3 weeks. Ds for 2 1/2.
Not constant but pretty much everyday. No other symptoms apart from cramps

Took ds to the docs. He said a virus, it would clear up on its own. That was a week ago.

I think it is a bug as we haves all had it, but its really starting to get me down. I haven't slept well because of it.

What can I do to help harden things up, if anything?

BRAT doesn't make any difference.

I am going to try and get a doc appointment later but I don't want to get fobbed of. that's if i manage a appointment in the first place

TIA

After 3 week it's a bug don't not fit. Go to the Doc and tell them straight he should take samples and give you both supplements at the very least.

My youngest DS - almost 2 yo - had diarrhea for well over 4 weeks around March time. Stool sample taken and it turned out he had something called Rota Virus. Very common in kiddies apparently tho i'd never heard of it before. Wasnt pleasant and it seemed to last FOREVER!! Maybe this is what you both have? One way the virus is recognised is by the horrendous smell of rotten eggs it has...truly is awful. Took him back to GP's a few times with it cos i was worried about how long it was taking him to get over it but was told that it is a nasty little virus and can take a while to shake off. Hope u both get well very soon.
