To say I am fed up is an understatement
I have continually infected tonsils, had an abscess burst at the weekend :(
So tomorrow I am going to push to have my tonsils removed asap and also the soft palate cut. I was on the waiting list to have this done before DD1 was born as I have problems with sleep apnoea and snoring Blush
I just hope the consultant agrees and the waiting list isnt too long!

I just need to get them out! I am fed up of having bad breath at times because of the infection, and also the constant infection in my bloodstream can't be good

yorkiegirl,

how did you get on ? Smile

I am having my tonsils out. Got to keep going with weight loss (tell me something I don't know) and also spend a night in the sleep clinic. I suffer from sleep apnoea so the registrar thinks my tonsils are contributing to that and I may need to sleep with a CPAP machine at home Shock
thanks for asking x

what apneoa? and a cpap machine sorry im a bit thick !

Yorkiegirl · 28/02/2006 21:16

CPAP is continuous positive airway pressure. Basically a machine pumps air through a mask over your nose and blows air into your lungs to make sure you don't stop breathing
