my back hurts pretty much constantly. Theres nothing wrong with it. I had an mri a year ago. Otc drugs dont make any difference and i'm a bit sensitive to the stronger ones.

Anyway. I can carry on just putting up with the low level hurt and just being careful.

I go to the gym 3-4 times a week. I do a dance class. I work.

I am still 4 stone overweight though. God knows why. I rarely eat takeaways or chips.

But the back is really getting me down. Its barable as long as i keep moving but as soon as i stop. It seizes up.
I can't sleep. Every time i turn over it wakes me up. Meaning i am knackred.

If i go back to the docs is there anything that could help?

Of course .
Mine offered me Diazepam .
Though I think that's unusual .

Personally I'd swap the gym for an Alexander Technique instructor or a good oesteopath .

But def .go to the GP .

Do you have a decent mattress? We got a memory foam one a few years ago. Is much better on my back than a spring one. Took a while to get used to, but now I love it

Pilates is good if you can find the right teacher - decent mattress definitely - take Kalms herbal pills if you want a sleep aid that isn't prescribed.
