Colour blindness - anyone blue/yellow colour blind?

After overhearing my two DDs discussing stickers last night I became worried that Dd2 might be colourblind. A couple of tests via the web suggest that she may be tritanopic (blue/yellow CB).

I was wondering if anyone here is and if so, how does it affect your life, if at all?

Should I be doing anything (luckily she's booked to see an optician next week just by coincidence)?

My kids are and lots of my family members are, when they're older I tell them to let people know whenever talking about colours, especially teachers, write the colours on their pencils and limit the number of colours I give them (shades seem to cause more trouble). It's never caused any serious problems, just funny ones like brown Santa and interesting colouring ins.

I've never noticed any weird colourings in but then I've never looked for them. I will have a look through her artwork a bit later.
