Every month in the week of my period I feel tearful and low and feel like I go into a tunnel for a week. Has anyone tried anything that has helped them for pmt?

Same here, so sick of it.
Regular exercice, starflower oil, reminding myself it's just 'the curse' and in last resort, prescription anxiolitics.
Hope it gets better for you.

I went to my GP who suggested I take Magnesium supplement. I take 300mg a day - just get it from a supermarket and it's really helped. I still get pms but nowhere near as scary bad as I was!

Get your thyroid function tested. I had terrible pmt but am fine now. I also had a lot of vitamin deficiencies so that could have been part of it too

No alcohol. Cut down on sugar. Exercise. Magnesium supplements as well as agnus castus. This helps with the low feelings but i also get unbelievably tired the week before and headaches too. Hate it, getting worse the older i get.
