Sumatriptan and BFP

Hi,

I'll try to be brief. I tried for a late baby at the age of 43 and unfortunately although i did manage 2 X BFP they both ended in MCs (most likely due to my age.)

That was 2 years ago and despite using no contraception and having sex around ovulation every month i have had no further positive HPTs. we have now stopped actively trying to get pregnant but have not used contaception and would be happy with a late BFP despite it being unlikely.

I have suffered with migraine on and off for all of my adult life and recently I have been getting migraines which start with a vertigo attack. My doctor has said for me to take Sumatriptan as soon as I have the vertigo feeling and it should head off the migraine.

The headaches do tend to be during the first 2 weeks of my cycle (especially when my waking temperature is low - can't get out of the habit of charting!)

So my question is:- if i take the odd one or two of these tablets and then miraculaously get a BFP would it be potentially harmful?

(I know i should have asked the GP this but i actually felt a numpty for even suggesting a BFP at my age and after so long without one - 45!)

Thanks. x
