Periods after birth

Have aso posted in childbirth, but not getting a response so thought I'd try here too.
Just wondering if this is within the realm of normal...

I gave birth 10 weeks ago, bled for 4 weeks, then 4 weeks after that had 2 days of pinky discharge. Assumed this was some sort of break through bleed/attempted period. But now 2 weeks on I've just started bleeding today like a normal period. I'm also exclusively breastfeeding. I'm a bit concerned about the two instances and the fact that I'm bleeding so soon again!

Should I see the doctor or is it just my body getting back in the swing of things?

I ebf but my 'proper' periods didn't start again until ds2 was about 9 months. I have read on the bf threads though about women who ebf and theirs came back within weeks. I'd maybe try re posting under the bf topic. It sounds normal to me :)

Also did you have a 6 week check up? An Internal? If you're in any real doubt a visit to the gp could put your mind at rest

I did have 6 week check but nobody checked 'down there' - despite me having a 3rd degree tear
