Coming off the (mini) Pill

I decided to come off the mini pill (Femulen) recently as after being on it for 6 months I've realised I am feeling a lot more anxious and 'numb' than usual, and want to test whether it's the pill that's causing it. I've read a lot of threads on here where people have realised that the pill has basically been ruining their lives for years without them realising - moodiness, depression etc. So I am very conscious of trying to avoid this.

Anyway, my question is - how long will it take me to go back to normal? What are other people's experiences with this? I know that the hormones leave your body within a couple of days, but how long for the mood effects to wear off? Apologies if this is a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' question :)

I think I noticed after about 6 weeks. I stopped to TTC and then realised how much it had been affecting me! My periods took quite a long time to regulate - about a year in total - but yes the emotional side and my sex drive after about six to eight weeks.
