and what do you take as a painkiller? Nurofen doesn't really seem to be doing it for me today Sad.

Me and a colleague both said the other day that we were suffering from hangover headaches without the hangover! Had it a few times recently - is that what it is? I generally do not take any painkillers, not sure why.

SkinnyVanillaLatte · 16/06/2012 19:41

Yes I do. I take nurofen and have a sleep as necessary.

I've always had headaches when a storm is brewing.

SkinnyVanillaLatte · 16/06/2012 19:42

I also suffer with migraines so I take my prescription migraine pill if I need to.

Glad it's not just me tbh. Until I met DH nobody I ever met had suffered from these headaches and I would get some real funny looks when I was describing it. Sometimes it's just a heavy head and lethargic feeling but other times a real searing pain - horrid. And, yes, sometimes it takes two lots of pills to provide any relief (obv not at the same time).

DeWe · 16/06/2012 21:52

Yes. I also get headaches when my hair needs washing. Dh gives me funny looks on that one.

I had the exact same today. Woke up feeling like my brain was pushing out of my skull and got even worse when I bent down or moved my head too quickly. Quite relieved to see these posts as I put it down to a hangover but only had a couple of drinks last night. Now I think about what has been said here and how my head felt makes sense that it could have been related to air pressure.

The change in weather upsets my chronic sinisutis which gives me horrendous headaches, today I took enough paracetamol and ibuprofen to knock out a horse and I still have a sore head and cant breathe through my nose!

Riversidegirl · 16/06/2012 22:08

I get the headaches and if I don't take paracetamol in time I have projectile vomiting too. Awful

Otherwise I'm in really good health.
