Numbness in left leg

Yesterday when I woke up my legs, but mainly left felt a bit weak and funny, like when it has fallen asleep and you know whe you move you are going to have pins and needles.

I didn't have p & n, but my left thigh specifically felt numb.

My lower back on the left side also felt like this a bit too. There was no pain.

The feeling went during the day, I didn't notice it going, but it came back about bed time, and is still there this morning.

It is just a patch of feeling at the back of my left thigh, and my leg can move fine, also feels slightly weak.

My DH says I should go to DR, but it seems so trivial, and difficult to explain.

It could be relevant but probably not that I also have a massive flea bite on this thigh (inner) Thanks cat!

Anyone had anything vaguelly similar before?

I had problems with this for years, now much better. I didn't go to the doctor at first and it did go away for a while.
Exactly as you describe. In my case it was a trapped nerve, it would be numb for a few days then ache and then okay for a while. Eventually it ended up numb all the time. It was a real struggle to get a diagnosis. Eventually I saw a physio (about the 6th different one) who spotted straight away what was causing it.

I would give it a few days then see a GP.

Thanks SS. Seems to have gone away for now. Thought maybe trapped nerve, tho' I always thought they were painful, glad to know otherwise!
Hope you are better now?
