Or, more precisely, how long they take to form? I was hospitalised as a result of one last September and at the time was told that apart from that one, my kidneys were clear. Now I'm having similar twinges of pain in my side (nowhere near as bad as before, which was unbearable!) and was wondering whether another one could have formed so quickly?
