Hello,
Long story short I went on the provera jab two days after first period post birth. The period never stopped it was either heavy bleeding or discharge for 10 weeks, when I went back to GP who said it was down to having the jab so soon after birth (which she had adviced in the first place). Told me to have the next jab there and then and it should resolve, it didn't and I subsequently had the same problem throught the duration of that jab, then 10 weeks into that jab my breasts starting leaking again (never breastfed stopped leaking within a few weeks of birth.
Had lots of tests all clear, GP told me it was now a recognised side effect of the injection and I was not to have another or anything else hormone based for 3 months.
Anway bleeding died off after about 3 weeks of not having the injection, then 4 weeks later came back and had a 2 week bleed which I guessed was a cycle return. 4 weeks later it came back and I am now in my 4th week of discharge and bleeding and my breasts have started leaking heavily again.

Getting alittle peeved now. Can't get appointment with female doctor for 3 weeks, I am happy to see male Doctor but did that during my problem last time as was told should continue seeing the Doctor dealing with the problem and made me an appointment with her, so seems pointless.

Has this ever happened to anyone post birth before?
What could it be?

Thank you

Depo jab takes a very long time to wear off have seen people on here who haven't returned to normal for up to 10months after having it! I haven't had a period since Feb as mine stopped completely while on depo but I was on it for 5 years.

10 months Shock

Big hairy poo bums, not sure I can handle another month let alone and potential 8 months.

Hmm better get a large stock of breast pads then.

Thank you

Maybe you should post in conception there might be more people who know about coming off the jab in there. Might be more helpful then just me.
