Periods after breastfeeding - or is something wrong?!

I have been breastfeeding ds for 18 months. I stopped 6 weeks ago and my periods still haven't returned although I have had horrible lower abdominal pain for the 2 weeks and a heavy discharge (sorry!) for the last 2 weeks, is this normal?!

not normal, do go see GP asap to get it checked out.

Oh no, will do... I have 3 DCs and can't really remember this happening when I stopped BF the eldest two...
