Can I use Femstrual to help ease bleeding on Cerazette?

I've been on Cerazette for nearly 3 months and for around the last 2, I have hardly stopped bleeding! I have tried taking multivitamins as I have heard this could help, but there seems to be no difference. The bleeding is light but a nuisance.

I have heard that Femstrual could help to ease bleeding - does anybody know if it is safe to take with a contraceptive?

I'd like to stay on Cerazette as I have had no other drastic side effects. I can't take the combined pill due to history of migraines. If anybody can help, I'd be most grateful! :)

Yes that's fine but you shouldn't take it for more than a few days at a time. Also there are a few people who shouldn't take tranexamic acid (Femstrual) so double-check with your pharmacist that it is safe for you.

It's also worth making a GP appointment as there are other things that can help, for example doubling up on your Cerazette, but don't do this without speaking to your GP first.

That's great news, thank you! I'll get myself to the pharmacist first thing on Monday and hopefully this wretched bleeding shall stop forthwith. :)
